Outside the top 4 obviously.

Seriously? They have had close games, but haven't loss. No way a "quality loss" is better than a win.

Not really

I say they improved a lot compared to last year but aren't good. A bunch of moral victories aren't impressive. When was the last time the piggies won an SEC game?

Also, would you say Mizzou is good. They got beat by mother fricking Indiana. Indiana lost to bowling green and hasn't won a B10 game yet.

Triple option teams give everyone trouble. Even if Notre Dame is bad, this isn't the game to point it out

Navy has 5 losses including Rutgers and Western Kentucky....they suck.

If nD was called "northwest Indiana st" they would not even be ranked.

Their fan base is the "gumps of the north"

frick nD and Alabama.

Don't worry, they have almost no shot at making the playoff.

Look at Navy's W/L this year. Is that not an "argument"?

I'm actually looking forward to seeing what happens when they play Georgia Southern next week.

they both seem about the same to me.

pretty good execution in the run game but can sometimes play down to the level of their competition.

I don't see one win that ND has had that justifies their T10 ranking.

Their best win is Stanford?

I disagree with this and my opinion seems wildly unpopular. How does a competitive, close loss, not prove more about the level your team is at compared to some shitty win over a shite team?

To me, the regular season is to determine how good teams are. Losses can help determine that.

So you just want Vegas to rank the teams then? Your playoff would be Alabama, Florida State, Baylor, and Michigan St. Sorry Miss St. Great season, but nobody really cares about winning games.

And that would still be your playoff if LSU beats Alabama 27-14. Stupid idea.

The World Cup does shite like this. It sucks.

It isn't your fault that the conference you play in may have a down year or two. Schedules are made years in advance when teams are completely different.

The length of the postseason would stretch for a month and add 4 games for some teams.

Wear and tear on an athlete is one thing, but it could also result in a rich get richer situation where the top teams are allowed practice/games that give more experience to second/third string and improve their abilities in future years.

Right. They squeak by Navy and they are good. I see your point.
