Now... YES. But when Magic retired in 1991 because of it, Most thought that he would be dead within a couple years.... He just happened to be in great shape and let medicine take ver... I'm almost positive I cried when he announced he was HIV positive. It was perceived as a death sentence. I thought he'd be dead in three years.

My med school friend told me some types of strains don't ever become AIDS, and he has one of those.

I had a college medical professor who swore that Magic doesn't even have HIV because she apparently saw multiple pictures of people taking his blood without gloves after he announced he was HIV positive. The no gloves thing is like a cardinal sin, especially with someone HIV positive.

Tommy Morrison was a moron about his situation. First, he took it seriously and took anti-retrovirals. Then, once his level went down, he convinced himself he never had it, stopped taking medicine, did hard drugs and drank for fun, boxed, and died five years later.

Have you seen multiple medical tests that state majic Jonson has hiv? Even one positive test doesn't mean you have it because it could have been a false positive. He doesn't have hiv in my myopic world.

Yeah, that doesn't make sense....unless it's like the multiple strains of HPV of which only a few cause warts. I doubt that, tho
