Apparently the league is pissed with the way things have gone down this year, and this is an insanely strong case.

Nothing like contacting a player who is still under contract or leaking during SB week that you would pay top dollar and all of that.

I wouldn't be surprised if they lost a pick to be honest.

And before anyone says sour grapes, I wish Revis the best. I can't fault him for taking more money, I would probably do the same in his position.

Yeah I am sure goodell is going to make sure his buddy Kraft stays on top of the division with the maximum penalty possible against the jets.

The Pats fan suddenly wants the NFL to come down hard on those who break rules?

Actually, I'm sick as a dog. I'm glad I have my Super Bowl Championship hoodie to keep me from shivering.

Oh yeah, it's not like we didn't get our first round pick and fined out the butt for Spygate. The NFL kept leaking blatently wrong information which dragged the Pat's name through the mud during the first week of the SB media time.

The Jets obviously tampered here, and the NFL has already sent out the letter that they are checking phone lines and other things.

25 million for one player?

Psh. If you're going to troll, at least do it effectively.

The early numbers on his contract are 48 million in the first 3 years with 39 fully guarnteed over the life of a 5 year 70 million dollar contract.

I hope the best for him, and I hope he continues on his hall of fame career track. I'm glad he helped us win a championship, and don't blame him for chasing the money.

Honestly who cares. This whole tampering thing is so overblown to me.

Lulz.

If they do, they do. I honestly can't be upset if someone finally knocks the Patriots off the top. Even the greatest programs eventually get knocked down a year or two.

I don't care about the guys who aren't under contract. Revis was a Patriot until they declined his option, and it's obvious the Jets were contacting him the entire time.

You should care about teams contacting players while they are still part of another team.

I'm considering it. But I'm still leaning towards not.

Seriously though. People discuss career opportunities all the time. In something as unimportant as sports, I don't care if teams throw ideas out at guys. Not like Revis didn't play his arse off during the playoffs.

Even that douche bag NFL shill Bill Polian said the league is retarded for trying to come down on teams for talking to agents about "parameters" when the league permits them to talk to agents during that 3 day window.

Belichick should've been kicked out of the league for Spygate, losing a pick was a slap on the wrist
