probably honestly about 25 mph. I tore my shoulder up and had surgery and will never attempt to throw any kind of ball as hard as I can ever again...and my arm was crap to being with

Around 97 was my fastball. Breaking stuff was only about 80-85. I also ran the 40 in 4.47.

I threw 85/86 when I was 15/16

78-80 when I was 17/18

82-84 in college

ETA: Arm slot changed, shoulder been fricked

I could hit about 80-81 soph year. Never pitched junior or senior since I switched to catcher full time, but early in the season I could get it up to around 83/84 from the mound. But would really hang around 78-80 in game. But that was soph year. If I would have kept pitching I would have topped about 85 with about 81-83 consistent

I went to a few showcases senior year and they all said I was "between 83-88". frickers never gave me an exact speed

I've never been legitimately clocked but my friend (juco closer that has been clocked at 93) told me I'm in the low 80s.
I might could throw a strike every 20 pitches throwing that hard though.

Last year I was at one of those radar gun booths at a minor league park. I threw one to warm up, then crow hopped and threw 2 as hard as I could. I think it was like 78 & 80 and my arm hurt for a week

I threw 88 at a zephyrs game last season.. won some free tickets!!
