Well, Game 1 doesn't start for about a week. So he could potentially only miss 3-4 games of the Bulls series.

However, if JR Smith is suspended for 5+ games, they could be in a bit of trouble. I think they will probably lose to the Bulls in a series if Love and Smith do not play.

It's a little dicey, but I still think they get by CHI with no Love or Smith.

i think they can make it past the Bulls without Love. Without JR Smith though, they are definitely fricked.

Their starting 5 is good enough to win..

Kyrie
Shumpert
Lebron
Tristan Thompson
Mozgov

but their bench...

James Jones
Mike Miller
Shawn Marion
Dellavadova
Kendrick Perkins

Lot of old as dudes who can't defend for shite. We need Mike Miller to come in and knock down some 3's in a REAL bad way. He should be well rested though.. So we shall see.

Looks like Kyrie and LeBron will be playing ~43+ minutes a night until those guys get back though

anyone remember his teamates on the last cavs team lebron led to the finals? Yeah me neither... kyrie alone makes this team 2x as good as that one. The cavs will be fine

I think they can still get by Chicago without him. Atlanta would be a different story.

Nah. Outside of Lebron James, just another all star caliber player, a player who just averaged over 20 ppg coming off the bench in his prime, three double-double caliber players, and two all-nba defensive caliber players (one which averaged over 14 rpg during a season).

Not doubting you at all but can you put names with those stats. Would be interesting to see.

Lebron will carry them through the ECF if needed. He should have enough time to be healthy by the finals if all goes well.

Suspended for a hard movig screen? if that happens I will agree with the old folks on this board that the NBA has become pussified

I think Lebron and Kyrie step it up a notch. They can get by the Bulls without Love/Smith, though it will probably go to 6.

During the scuffle afterwards he did touch the other dudes face. Idk if it was a punch or a push or what but maybe that's what they are thinking about?? Either way this game 4 has REALLY fricked the Cavs.

I didn't see the game/play, but this is what USAToday is reporting-

quote:

Speaking of suspensions, Kendrick Perkins is likely facing one his own as well for this not quite legal pick and ensuing skirmish.

There is a real chance that the Cavaliers open the second round of the playoffs without three players. That’s almost a guarantee for the first game, and there is a scenario where Smith and Love are both out for Game 2 as well.
