Lebron and Kyrie can carry the Cavs to the Finals, with or without Love.

He should be back in the next series anyways, though.

They will beat the Bulls without Smith/Love.

It was pretty obvious, outside of Kyrie/Mozgov, they were coasting with the Celtics. Kyrie will punish Rose on the defensive end, and unless Jimmy Butler goes beastmode, I just don't see Chicago coming up with enough points to win.

anyone remember his teamates on the last cavs team lebron led to the finals?

That's right off the top of my head, but yeah I'm certainly sure that a lot of these guys have been forgotten.

Jimmy Butler can keep him from going full beast mode.

I don't think he will. Not this year.

Nah. IDK if any of yall have noticed but the Bulls offensive game has increased this year. But with that, their defense has declined. Jimmy Butler is no longer the shut down defender now that he has exerted more effort on the offensive side of the court. I think LeBron vs Jimmy should be a good matchup but LeBron will win that one.

and D Rose vs Kyrie.. Kyrie gonna make that dude look stupid on defense. D Rose might do the same to him though, every other night, so I think Kyrie has the edge on that matchup as well.

The game will be decided down low. With K Love out the Cavs will be short handed against Pau Gasol and Noah. MozGov and TT are going to be playing way more minutes than they are used to.

I think we can still win the series without any help from K Love. We need JR Smith back though.

Considering hes never averaged close to that against Thibs defense, I doubt it.

I personally think the Bulls may beat them. Rose/Irving is kind of a push, with Lebron obviously being the best player. After that, give me Gasol/Noah over the inside guys for the Cavs.

I think it could be extremely close

He's averaged around 28 ppg against them this year. Wouldn't be surprised if it jumped up to ~30.

He also will be playing more PF on defense with K Love out for a few games so he will probably average 10+ rebounds.

Assists will probably go down bc he will be doing more work and 2 of their best 3 pt shooters (Love and Smith) will miss a few games.. So probably ~5 assists.

so..

30\11\5 sounds good to me.

This will be one of those epic LBJ series. Thompson is an upgrade over love defending Gasol anyway

It's different from series to series but the Bulls haven't exactly been running the Bucks off the court, so I think the Cavs can still beat the Bulls without Love/Smith, but they will probably be tight games. If Love is back in 2 weeks (big if), the Cavs will be fine if they can get to 2-2.

Shumpert had a dislocated shoulder that kept him out 6 weeks this year so that 2 weeks that's being thrown out there surprises me.

I think Lebron has learned in his time with the heat how to play for something bigger than yourself. He will find a way to win, because it's just not about him winning its about c town winning.

I think LeBron is going to go off because he's the best player in the league and he looks uhhhhmazing without a headband.
