Hang in there and keep the faith. It’s well worth the wait.

Signed,

With the Braves it's been fun to watch the young talent develop.

Oh look, a Braves fan talking about how his team was bad for a few years

not sure why this bothers so many people.. Rather you are serious or not. But if you find joy in that, oh well.. thays you. So many get so upset at others ways of fandom.

I've been a Bucs fan since before the Dungy era. If we can eventually win a title then anyone can (except for the Browns of course ). Although it's more of an uphill climb in baseball with no salary cap.

Imagine if that 01 team had still had A Rod/Big Unit/Griffey.

don't quit.

It's just sports.

Even though they stink, eventually something will happen and you'll fell much better to know that you stuck by em.

And even if that, sports are the greatest thing on this earth to give us an escape from reality.
Will USC ever win a national title? Idk probably not. But just being able to share the bond of the Gamecocks with my family and friends makes pulling for that team so much better.

The Mariners spend money. Look at Cano and Felix. The problem is, they don't spend it wisely. Not sold on Jerry Dipoto after getting rid of Logan Morrison among other moves.

Plus, summer in Seattle is beautiful. Go to a game, enjoy being outdoors in nice weather, get a pleasant buzz and the product on the field won't feel so bad.

Don't worry about the hopeful if you want a normal balanced life. When people get older they generally start to extract less personal self esteem from the teams they rooted for as children.

I find myself rooting for and against players more than teams when the better players are on teams I don't root for or against. And that has been kind of fun.

None of my teams have really sucked long term (Atlanta fan and UGA obviously), but it is heartbreaking getting so close and fricking it up repeatedly.

I still watch sports all the time but it doesn't ruin my days/weeks anymore. One day it will be worth it.

Hang in there mate. Just be happy with the little moments like that no hitter last week. I’ve been a Jags fan since the beginning and up until this past year, we were terrible for a decade. But we still had some highlight makers that I cherished like MJD. Just gotta appreciate what you have till the team and franchise come around.

Dodgers haven't won a WS in 30 years and yet they are one of the most famous and wealthiest franchises.

It makes no sense.

I’ve been a cubs and saints fan my whole life. Never thought I’d see either win a championship much less both.

One playoff win in 50 years.

It doesn't even hurt. Most people around here are just apathetic. Not that Stafford is an exceptional player, but the window with him will close in a couple of years, then we'll be the Browns.

Well I'm from New York and the Yankees are legendary and the Giants are inconsistent but still win a super bowl every now and then

Then you have the knicks. They're so bad that I don't really follow them anymore. I watch basketball but I don't actually have a team.
