Maybe Dez should have fair caught the pass since people on here think the rules should be the same

Oh boo hoo

Cowboys shouldn't have been there anyway.

It's called karma.

You say incredibly simple...yet you don't know the rule. I guess that's par for the course on this board.

What don't I know about the rule? Cribbs had possession by rule, Dez did not. Take off the homer glasses.

It's a live ball, not a forward pass. There's a difference.

That's not what I'm saying at all. What I'm saying, is if it takes a certain amount of time to secure and possess the ball, why would it not be a fumble in that scenario? If you're saying at one point, he possessed the ball enough that when it hit the ground and popped lose, and it was not a fumble, why would Dez not have possessed the ball enough to negate an incompletion?

Because a punt and a pass are not the same situation. Goodness.

The Cowboy fan melt is still going on? Wow, must be a new record.

That's not what I was trying to say. I was saying if he never had possession in the first place, the knee going down wouldn't really matter.

He did have possession, unlike Dez.
