Brokebacks

New day, same song. Regardless of age, it's the same cajun fanbase that was there 35 years ago.

We want the Cajuns to win when they play, but if they don't, it doesn't ruin anyones day. It'd be a miserable existence if every time they lost it ruined your day

We never think stuff like "oh, so and so school is coming in this week I hate those guys", that's high school shite.

Shot fired at other certain fanbases?

I basically agree with you. I don't let the performances of 18-22 year old athletes I'm not related to affect how the rest of my day/week goes. Trivial in the grand scheme of things.

Neither do I but it sure is fun to troll people that do.

But the probability of McNeese beating the Cajuns Saturday is about as good as the Cajuns chances of beating Boise

Isn't McNeese favored in this game? Boise was favored by about 19 pts last week. These odds are based on probability. (your word... not mine)

I think this will be a pretty close matchup... should be fun to see these guys play against each other since a lot of the players were recruited by both universities.

Final Score Prediction: McNeese - 35 ULL - 31

McNeese played a glorified HS team last week and didn't look good doing it.

You serious, Fred? I mean, considering we have a new coaching staff, several new starters, and it was the first game, a 30 point win and only 3 points given up is pretty good. We had almost 600 yards of offense.

ULL on the other hand, with it's "SEC Quarterback" and "former SEC freshman defensive player of the year" got beat by 35 points, in a game where they were 21 point dogs. It was never close.

Now, I agree with you Jennings played a good game (Shows what LSU wasted). But that was the 1 shining point.

If you believe this is a 14 point game, good for you. I don't see it. It may be, but I don't think we know enough about either team to know what they will do. And that is what makes this game so exciting. Regardless of what some may want to believe, McNeese will probably be closer in talent to some of the teams ULL will see in Conference than Boise was. And how McNeese plays against ULL will give us a pretty good idea as to what this team will be this year.

As they always say, you see the most improvement from game 1 to game 2. I think we are in for a good game.

Too bad you weren't around in the 60's and 70's. Now THOSE were some good ol Cowboy and Cajun contests.

Relax, there is nothing wrong with being the "little brother". It just means when you get the chance to beat big brother, you make him never forget it....

Best place to park is off of Bertrand, behind SLCC. Maybe a 10 minute walk and very easy to get out afterwards. My son and I have been parking there for 3 seasons now and walk to Agave for a burger and to watch games before going into the stadium.

Agreed, it may not be my favorite, but I like it a lot. Deanos also has a solid burger.

ULL is a 10 point favorite and that doesnt surprise me.

i think ULL wins by a TD, but McNeese keeps it close. I want McNeese to win more than anything, but with a new coach, new system and a QB making his second start i dont see it happening.

plus im a big believer in emotions of teams and i know that ULL was embarrassed on their home turf last week and fired the D coordinator. they want to earn the respect of the fans back and play well for the new D coordinator, plus he will mix it up and McNeese has no idea what to expect.

i hope im wrong but i think it will be close, but the FBS depth will take over in the 4th and the Cajuns might pull away by 10-14.

ill go 31-23 Cajuns

Yep, Deano's does have a legit burger. Nimbeaux's burger has been my shite lately. Not close to the stadium though.

I assume we are talking Deano's pizza here. Their Tee-Rex pizza is the bomb. Can't beat it.

I never understood shite talking your opponent and saying how bad they are before you play them. So if my team loses to the team I just said was terrible, what does that make us?

I'll save the shite talking until after the game. Last time I checked crow doesn't taste that great

I'm a fan of McNeese and hope to hell they win, but I'll be the first to admit ULL has plenty of firepower and it won't be easy. They will have to play a near perfect game to come away with a W

Yes, Deanos Pizza. I prefer the Landry Special at Pizza Village, but I hear that's a good one as well.
