Probably. But they have got to be gassed. Two 7 games series in a row. And they aren't a deep team at all. Possibly the best starting lineup in the league though.

I think you guys probably get the win today. Their soul could be crushed from that collapse.

I agree with them having the best starting 5, especially the way it's built. CP3 might be cursed though.

either side will prop up the winning team as obviously better than the other, but it's pretty obvious that the 2 teams are about as even as it gets.

Clippers obviously better right now. They are 2.5 favorites on the road after a massive collapse in what is likely to be one of the most packed crowds in NBA history. Outside of a Chris Paul injury, they would have been favored in every single game, home and away.

Vegas runs the books. LA teams are historically overvalued.

Edit: I'm not saying the Clips won't win, but USC etc are always a worse bet than non LA teams

Whoa slow down Shelton. How many more games missed due to injury for HOU?

That article I posted

quote:

The Trojans passed up LSU in early April at the MGM and are now +300 (3/1) favorites to win the national title. Southern Cal’s 15 returning starters, including Heisman frontrunner Matt Barkley, has a lot to do with the betting surge, but so does the Trojans’ proximity to Las Vegas, says Todd Fuhrman, senior sportsbook analyst at Caesars Palace.

I'm not just making this up...although I would

True, but 2.5-point favorites on the road is a lot regardless.

Yeah. The line opened between EVEN and LAC-1.5. Money is clearly going down on the Clippers. I'm okay with that.

Vegas goes where the money is. The money is coming in on the Clippers. Sometimes the reason for that is the west coast LA fans betting on their hometown team.

I don't know if you understand what i'm saying

I lived in Houston 1990-99 and was all in on those Championship teams, the first one was miraculous.

I predict James Harden and Chris Paul will both get shot midair with high powered rifles at some point.

And this game is largely meaningless as neither team has a prayer to take GS to more than 5 games.

Even if GS will be favored by a lot in the next series, this game is so big for the futures of both teams. First of all, you never know what will happen. GS could feel the pressure and Hou or LAC could take it. On top of that, advancing to a conference finals would be huge for the confidence of Houston or LAC for next year and any year after that. I think Houston takes it today.

You nailed it. The Clippers have never been, and everyone says the Rockets are first round chokers. The Conference Finals would be a huge step for both teams.

I have a damn Dallas shirt from Game 3 of last round.

I am so pumped! Biggest Rockets game since 1997 in my opinion.
