How many Schaub, Cushing, and Foster jersey wearers do you think are out in the stadium tonight? How much money combined do you think went into the purchase of those jerseys? This is why I don't advocate being a jersey wearer on top of the fact that it just seems ridiculous that one grown man would wear another grown man's clothes, or the likeness of the other grown man.

DWI.

ETA: Just to make sure, if you aren't watching the game or live under a rock in terms of NFL information, Cushing, Schaub and Foster are all not playing tonight and yet the Texans are still playing well and winning.

Wearing a jersey is the exact same thing as a chick getting a "Rachel cut."

I actually believe this, mostly because it is a totally accurate comparison.

At least those can't get traded or hated over night, and you can still stick a bunch of shite in them.

If they paid more than 20-25 apiece, they're doing it wrong.

It's laughable that most of you think jerseys are stupid, but polos with Texans logos are okay. You don't work for them, so why is a polo okay?

I was wondering where all the anti-jersey posters were.

Also, most of the people wearing Schaub jerseys knew he wasn't playing tonight, and I'm pretty sure they don't give a frick what you think of them.

Because it doesn't represent the likeness of another person, it represents an organization that represents the city for which the people live and pay taxes, and vote, and support one another in. It doesn't refer to a single person, but an entity representing many persons.

I don't expect them to? Did you really think I posted this hoping they would somehow find out?

Polo: clothing.
Jersey: Equipment.

Polo: Rooting for a team.
Jersey: Playing dress-up.

Jesus Christ...two threads in one day worrying about what people wear? 2 of the 3 are hurt...do you stop supporting players because they are injured? Did it make you cringe to see Peyton jerseys in Indy when he was out while having neck surgery?

a jersey is definitely also clothing and rooting for the team.

if you showed up in full pads with someone else's jersey that's another story, but just the jersey itself is just something a little different than the same old same old polos.
