Why does he keep getting left out? Someone get steelersbravesdawgs on the case. We can't let the same thing happen to ozzie

sportswriters ego

make em wait

A lot of teams court the sports writers when they're in town they wine and dine them and make their pitch for their player

it's kind of become a scam

MLB needs more Adrian Beltre types. Great players, with personality.

95.1%. 19 voters left him off. Old farts don't know ball.

Best thing that can happen to baseball is when the 60+ year old honor guard writers die off.

But then we are going to have to deal with the SABR nerd writers who believe in things like WAR over what they see with their own eyes uggghhhhh

Baseball hall of fame voters are generally dumbasses who whore their votes out, yet somehow have a superiority complex.

Because his career fell off a cliff after turning 30. I don't have a problem with Jones being inducted but I think Lofton and Beltran should get in before him.

I guess no one had the balls to stand up to beltre in the clubhouse
No wonder the rangers sucked during that time

Do we really have to go thru the charade of keeping the steroid players on the ballot
Just take them off and those votes might help someone else

I’m sure Beltran will suffer from the sign stealing saga

Bagwell Piazza and Pudge are already in the HOF.

It’s better than it used to be. Mickey Mantle only received 88% of votes when elected. Willie Mays was below 95%, and the list goes on and on.
