Broke his arm in the AFC Championship Game. Gave him plates and screws and stitched him up so he could play in the SB.

I missed a large chunk of the game due to a test, how did he get a tear that long in his arm

He broke his arm in the NFC Championship game. I honestly didn't even know he had surgery on it until last night. Somehow played two weeks later.

With the procedure he got is that recovery typical? I mean it can't be, right?

I think the whole "sr" thing on a jersey is kind of just pointless

God no. That would normally be in the 5-7 week range if not more.

he's not 100% and played in a cast. easily could have made it worse, but he played through it and everytime it hit a player i guarantee he cried inside.

That doesn't even look like an arm. Looks like a glob of leather attached to his elbow.

I would've never thought his arm was in that kinda shape unless I had seen a picture of it. So for me no I def have more respect for him now that I've seen the pic.

I mean, everyone watched him fly around the field with reckless abandon 2 weeks after breaking his arm.

If you really want the world to see your scar, let the media leak it. Don't make up some bs

It's a shame a player with that kind of dedication has to share a locker room with Cam Newton.

me too.

I did see a lot of good defense though on some of the parts of the game I caught.

A good defensive game was needed in my opinion. I was tired of this new age NFL offensive minded crap...mostly media and message board driven though.

It only takes winning a title for people to really start talking defense.

so fricking predictable.

He's underpaid too. He's played 11 years and only made 51 million. Never got that monster deal cause of all those injuries he had in the middle of his career.

I see your point, but Twitter or any kind of social media, nor a publicly usable internet weren't around in 1985.

Thomas Davis has been through hell and back with 3 ACL tears. The fact that he is even still playing professional football is amazing. His determination to play in this game was unbelievable. The dudes arm looks like an actual football and he's out there making tackles, while his quarterback can't even hit the deck to recover his own fumble.

Thomas Davis is a great player and has a ton of heart. Very fortunate to have him be a Panther

A player showing his fans the severity of his injury really upsets you, huh?

Piss off.

How did he "proceed to make it about him" by thanking the team doctors and his teammates?
