It's almost like this thread got stuck in cyberspace for like two years, then finally went through.

Here's an awesome read

you have to be joking. Those draft picks weren't guaranteed to be anything. Hell Toronto looks like a playoff contender. I have wanted them to swing a deal for Harden, and while I like Lamb he was a potential replacement for KMart. Now you have a young wing who has star potential, and he has nice young pieces around him. Great deal for Houston.

This is just some stuff from the first TWO pages...people here who act like Pelitards just started hating Houston when they got Dwight are full of it. It's been going on here for a long time.

Almost as bad as you saying AD wasn't a top 10 player

Was this thread spurned from Harden crossing over Rubio?

Never said that. I said fantasy player. shite, do you want me to link you to where I said he would be great, a KG-Dwight hybrid while you boys were calling him Marcus Camby?

No clue. I don't think the guy who started this thread is a Rockets fan. There has always been a large amount of butthurt from Pelican fans towards the Rockets, that's all I was pointing out. No need to get mad at me. I thought we were bigger than that.

He seemed like a down to earth guy at ASU. I remember him getting on the campus bus and he was just wearing ASU athletics clothes, looking for a seat, plopped down, and just stared out the window. Wouldn't have been able to tell he was a basketball star at all. He's very... normal?

No I'd say it's becoming more apparent by the day that Harden is the MVP this season as more people get on board you'll see threads like these start to pop up more often.

how about lead his team out of the 1st round? He's been pretty good, but he should start with that.

He's coming off back to back first round exits while he shot 39% & 37% from the field, all while shooting 20x a game. The losses clearly ride on his shoulders.

His PER drops fro 25 to 19 in the last 2 playoffs. He still has a ton to prove.

Yeah I'll never understand why people assumed Harden couldn't cut it as a starter.

I do believe that he's been better than what anyone could have guessed, even Morey himself.

Houston's first round matchup will be very, very intriguing to watch in large part due to Harden. He's having the best season of his career and is the MVP so far. But for the most part in the playoffs in his career, when the fouls haven't been called as much as they have in the reg. season, his performance has dipped.

Curious to see if his leap forward this season will translate into playoff success.
