"I'm going to try. He's one of my really good friends," Harden said during his annual youth basketball camp on Thursday. "I'm going to try and talk to him. He has a big decision [to make], whatever he feels best for his career.
"I obviously would love for him to play here in Houston, but ultimately he's got to make the best decision for his career whatever that is." Harden said he has hung out with Durant since their seasons ended, fueling speculation the recruiting pitch is underway.
Harden said he hasn't started the process yet but, "I got to think about something in the next couple of days."

This is like when Tulane offered Dylan Moses

Durant needs to tell him "learn how to play defense the we'll talk."

Given that they're good friends, it would be foolish not to gauge interest.

"Harden probably told KD he didn't want him because Harden wants to be the only star on the team."

Previous reports from a reputable Rockets insider said Harden told Durant he wanted to try winning on his own. He wasn't down for Superfriends.

James has been somewhat John Kerry-ish this offseason. Whatever you want to do james do it, we'll support you either way.

To go play with someone else who never passes the ball?

If Durant want to win a championship, he should stay miles away from James Harden

I'm really going to need to see Durant's defensive win share before I can decide on whether this would be a good move for the Rockets.

i give the Rockets less of a chance of signing KD than the Wizards. And i put their chances right at 1%. Why in the frick would KD want to play for the Rockets? Someone give me a legitimate reason

He's basically an amalgamation of cliches with the delusion of Bill Simmons, tact of Kige, and intelligence of the retarded brother from There's Something About Mary.

1. He would be joining a better team. When Durant missed last season OKC didn't even make the playoffs. HOU has made the playoffs at a minimum every year. Take Durant off both teams, HOU is better. Add Durant to CC and well logic tells you they're a better team.
2. Harden is his best bud in the league and hands down top 5 player. Mike Beasley is his #1 childhood friend.
3. CC is the 3rd or 4th largest NBA brand worldwide.
4. No State income tax in CC
5. Houston > OKC as a city.
