Harbaugh apologists don't like facts OP

There's even a clown on here saying Michigan is rebuilding this year - in Harbaughs 3rd year

So what, do we think Harbaugh is gonna go 7-13 in his next 20?

I just realized Hoke is the D-Line coach at Tennessee. Damn. He'll be job hunting again.

They should definitely fire Harbaugh and go back to Hoke. No doubt about it.

Hoke wasn't fired because of his performance through 2.5 seasons.....

He was fired because he went 7-13 in his last 1.5 seasons

He's a better fit out West. Much easier to find a QB who can run his system out there.

Out West he's a tier 2 coach, knocking on tier 1

At Michigan he's an average tier 3 coach with not a much higher ceiling.

I think Michigan lost more starters than any other team in the country. They're on a backup QB and their best receiver is out for the year. 7-5 is not out of the question.

Lack of a QB may drive Harbaugh out of town. Peters was supposed to be the guy by now. If Peters or McCaffrey aren't rolling next year, they're in trouble.

I think Michigan will be a really good team next year, but the schedule is brutal, going to ND, Mich St., and Ohio St. It's probably not ever going to come together with Harbaugh because of all this.

Last year was the year they needed to win the conference.

This will be his third straight year of slightly above average

That is his standard unless he has first round draft picks on his roster

Luck was a phenom. Harbaugh has proven he's incapable of developing QBs on his own

To be fair, the quality of the Big 10 is infinitely better over the last couple years than it was when Hoke was coaching. That being said, the 1-4 record against Michigan State and Ohio State is inexcusable. Harbaugh needs to find a way to beat those teams.

He's been blown out in one game. I'm fine with 9-3 football, not everybody can be Bama.

Rocket31, how can you with a straight face claim his first year st Michigan was a failure?

The consensus was a 6-6/7-5 year and he outperformed that and sent jake rudock to the NFL

Never said failure one time. He's been slightly above average every year

3rd in the Big Ten East

Exactly. Saban and Meyer are anomalies. Its gonna take a lot of time for Michigan to become elite. He has to recruit the south and the Atlantic a lot more. The talent up north, aside from the top recruits in Ohio, is overrated IMO.

Can't wait until OSU wrecks those clowns on senior day. Who got it better than us? Everybody.

Harbaugh beat #1 USC with a back-up QB...who had never started a game...Tavita Pritchard.

Why should it take longer at Michigan than freakin' Stanford?

Stanford was a disaster - and it's historically, you know, Stanford and they aren't accepting athletes who have no business being in college.

Before Harbaugh Stanford was:

1-11

Then with Harbaugh

4-8
5-7
8-5
12-1

Because we are a cursed program.

McElwain and Butch Jones turned around their respective lesser schools, and are struggling to bring FL and Tenn back to the promised land.
