well if the next 2 schools in line for him are iowa and Nebraska, then this is probably a smart move for UM

Sounds like you're scared he'll get a better one than that guy.

this happens all the time and will continue to happen as long as there are scholarship limitations. i don't understand why people continue with their faux outrage every time it happens.

He almost certainly offered a grey shirt and the guy probably didn't like it.

Scared? You will be. Harbaugh is going to make Michigan a power team again...and soon.

He got someone better lined-up to sign in a few weeks.

Kids rarely hold committments, even bailing on signing Day, why should coaches?

You're not guaranteed anything, not even once you get there - year to year - look at Saban and his long history of dumping players early after they've signed on the dotted-line and been on campus and practicing with over-signing.

Why does this matter? Harbaugh didn't offer him the scholarship. And maybe the kid didn't progress as much or work as hard as he should have. Harbaugh knows football. Show me an equal or better football mind that thinks Harbaugh is wrong.

I hate Michigan and all but come on. Last year we got a kid to sign without telling him the coach that was recruiting him would be gone the next day.

We shouldn't really be the ones throwing stones.

Yep, if those are his other options, then abort. Stinks, but kids need to understand college football is a business. Don't view it any other way.

So Michigan should only look at national recruits? Thats a dumbass comment especially considering Iowa consistantly has one of the best OLs in the Big10

How long has Harbaugh been the coach at Michigan? Why should he have to honor an offer made by the coaching staff that preceded him?
