Seems to me that the formation should dictate who is illegal or legal to be a receiver. If the center is not allowed to holler, "Hey, i am a legal receiver", the why should a receiver be allowed to holler, "hey I am an illegal receiver"?
The whole thing sounds stupid, and the officials should have fixed it the first occurance.

In that aspect, Belichek and Brady are geniuses. They have the game in their blood, and will use every crevice to exploit it. Props to them.
I think Harbaugh is just having his "mad he lost" moment. The Ravens will be fine next year unless we have absolute terrible luck and have our secondary die on us again much like the Atlanta offensive line. Can't really play well when a whole part of your team is missing. Sucked so bad we had to give the Pats the short curl routes to solidfy everything else.
