I don't get why some are so bothered by it. If someone spends the money on a ticket then wear whatever the hell you want as long as it's not offensive. If my authentic jersey that cost a decent amount of money, isn't beat to hell a half century from now, I'm still going to wear it.

Rich Eisen has a good rule of thumb: never wear the jersey of a player who is younger than you.
But in general, I find wearing jerseys to be extremely gay.
