It makes no sense how much national media (non sports programs too) attention the duke thing got but how this isn't. The racial angle is all I can think of.

Here is an article from 2013 about a separate recruit who was committed to Baylor. Pretty heinous allegations of sexual assault with a child. And, you guessed it. Baylor took him anyway and he was on the team for a couple years.
