Who should get in?

Bilas' rant was so off. When we tried to schedule teams at SMS they wouldn't play us. Unless we came to their place for 3 or 4 for 1's on their terms.

Should a team that gets 24/25 wins be left out?

Should a team that wins 18 games but plays the top teams in conference be left out?

Both answers are no but how do you reconcile this?

Remember it's a team not who has best individual talent so to me it's hard to answer correctly.

Doesn't matter to me. If there's a question as to whether you're one of the 68 best teams in the country, then I don't really care if you're in or out.

The only way to even schedule a quality team is to go on the road.

It is so damn hard to win on the road in college basketball these days, so most of the time they drop these games.
Sounds like a great opportunity to me. Make money for the university, and give your team a chance to win against a quality opponent on the road. If they're good enough to get into the dance, they should be good enough to beat a couple decent teams on the road. If not, then not.

Then why shouldn't LSU go to say Iona or Murray?

It works both ways.

I always loved reading the letters we would get from teams saying sure but you can only play us here and when we decide

Indiana agreed to play us in Market Square because of Alford but only in a tournament

KU wouldn't play us citing full schedule

oSu agreed to play us, but in 4 years

Arkansas played us but it was a multi sport deal all games but baseball in Arkansas starting in 2000

Murray St should be in the tourney...

That's all I have to add to this thread

See but that's bullshite. Let's see some these bigger schools come into Murray State, LA Tech or Iona.

Any school that gets a victory on te road at those three gets a "quality" win. Why does the mid major always have to travel?

But I've cometo face the facts that until the tournament is eventually expanded, and it eventually will, mid majors will get the raw end of the deal.

Iona, Murray State and Tech will be relegated to proving their worth in the NIT

Curious, does conference realignment mean that UConn is now a mid major? Kinda seems like bull shite

P5 doesn't mean anything. In many years Mountain West, Missouri Valley or A10 have been just as good or better than conferences not named ACC, Big 10 or former Big East.

Anyway the answer is if the decent good conference team has bad losses and the great bad conference team doesn't than the bad conference team deserves to get in.

If they're not does that make Tulane a major conference school?

Bilas is a power 5 pole smoker. He bends over for the P5 Commish and lets them have their way with him.
