ESPN has been going downhill since they decided their most important demographic is black kids ages 14 to 16.

That and they decided to cover every sport on the continent rather than sticking to the Big 3 American sports baseball, basketball, football. I remember as a kid watching Sportscenter religiously, even the same episode multiple times.

You can get live sports without a cable account? Like, you don't have to put in a usernmae and password and it still gets the goods?

Correct.

It's obviously not legal, but yes you can. The Kodi program does not need an account or user name to navigate and watch live programs.

To be fair, they started out covering a bunch of random stuff. Aussie football, World's Strongest Man competitions, Lumberjack stuff.

Went back looking for CK threads & found zip.
You're not using the search function correctly then. I searched "Colin" in subject only and found 4 threads started just in March. And again, that's just 1 small search, probably not all threads started, and certainly not every time he has been referenced in other threads.

What teams are interested in CK that would draw the interest of the rant?
Ask those who started threads and brought him up in other threads, I didn't initiate any Kaepernick discussions, so I can't answer that.

Romo probably has more, yes. But even if Kaep is #2, ok. My point still stands. And I'd bet all the Romo threads were in a small window of a couple of days when we thought he'd be released/cut. The MSB continues to bring up Kaep even though there hasn't been nearly as much actual news than Romo, just that he won't kneel next season, that's about it.

It's 24/7/365, what the heck are they going to talk about with just 3 sports all day every day?

ESPN has gone down the drain as it went away from professionalism to swag based bs. Bad English, crappy music all the time, sholls like Greenie, thrash like MMA, and too much dancing and dunk obsession. They obsession with the 12 year old audience has turned off adults.

This, in my opinion, is pretty much it. They morphed from covering and showing us the entertainment to trying to be the entertainment themselves. We don't need that.

Broadcast the sports, cover the sports, do the 30 for 30s and other relevant stuff, and call it a day.

I don't need Michael Smith and Jemele Hill trying to cover the latest Chance the Rapper's album in between covering Blackhawks highlights. I need them to be more "Ryen Russillo" and less "Stephen A."

Maybe 1/20th of the problem. Whatever percentage it is is heavily overstated on this board.

Well you are the shitass who immediately went into politics on a sports thread so frick you.

Their programming outside of live sorts sucks, aren't enough gangbangers to support it.

There was this really good article from OutKickTheCoverage recently as well. This guys has been all over ESPN's demise. He also blames a lot of it on them now having politicized their broadcasting.
