@ Houston L 96-97 (GSW led 2-1 after loss)
@ Portland L 108-120 (GSW led 2-1 after loss)
vs. OKC L 102-108 (OKC led 1-0 after loss)
@ OKC L 105-133 (OKC led 2-1 after loss)
@ OKC L 94-118 (OKC led 3-1 after loss)
@ CLE L 90-120 (GSW led 2-1 after loss)
vs. CLE L 97-112 (GSW led 3-2 after loss)
@ CLE L 101-115 (series tied 3-3 after loss)

This team is considered one of the best teams of all time. Why so many bad losses this postseason?

Nba needs to make money, Warriors can't sweep everyone.

They've been getting outplayed in these blowouts. Refs are a sorry excuse.

The road team almost always loses in the Finals, it's not rocket science.

Doesn't look good for the Cavs either, since the road team has not won a Finals game 7 since 1978.

Their best player and at worst the second best player on the planet almost blew his knee out in the first game of the playoffs?

It is my opinion, that this years Warriors are the greatest regular season team ever. But they are a far cry from best overall team ever. Win or lose game 7. They have shitted the bed too many times this playoffs. I just cant see this team competing with the other greats at all.

Nobody is gonna remember how many losses they had in the playoffs if they win it all.

They will when we discuss best team ever and their name comes up.

With Scott Foster reffing, the Warriors are now 2-3 this post season.

With all other refs the Warriors are 13-5.

With that said, context does matter. Injuries and the awakening of a team people expected to be a powerhouse finally happened. They also aren't the best team of all time.

Yeah. Somebody will inevitably argue that the '95-96 Chicago Bulls were the greatest. Then someone else will inevitably point out that this GSW team set the regular season record for wins. Then the first person will reply that the Bulls lost a total of three games, (two of which were in the Finals against presumably tbe 2nd best team in the league) in the play-offs, the same number of games GSW has lost in each of the last two rounds. Then the second person will start throwing punches and before the night is over, a full-scale riot will have left most of the neighborhood in shambles.

It's inevitable.

I imagine most basketball fans will remember when debating their place in history. You're right that the casual fan will probably just remember that they won and probably won't remember that they were pushed to the brink by two different teams

Nope

Not one poster here will be able to say how many postseason losses they had this postseason 20 years from now without looking it up.

What you're missing is that this is the age of the Internet. People can and will look it up at a moment's notice. Thirty years ago, or even twenty, you'd have a point. Now? Checking information on your phone while waiting at a red light is just standard behavior. Twenty years from now, somebody will say, "2106 Golden State had the best team ever!" and some podunk passerby will take 20 seconds to look them up on Wikipedia and retort, "You mean the same Golden State that barely escaped its last two series in the post-season? You're a dumb klavipucker*"

*klavipucker will be an unforgivable insult twenty years from now. Mark my words. I'm curious about what it will mean or how it will become a word, but I guess I'll just have to wait for it like the rest of the world.

Meanwhile, the 96 Bulls only lost 3 playoff games and only 1 was a blowout.

Anyone still pretending Curry is in Lebron's league is a delusional fanboy. It's not even close. Lebron is elite on both ends of the floor and can play/defend pretty much every position. Curry is an amazing three point shooter who plays mediocre defense.

Anyone who legitimately believes the refs are why golden state is losing is a massive crybaby and probably 13 years old
