What was the call on Seabrook? I've got no sound.

Didn't look like he left his feet for the hit.

ETA: Forget it, I see the PP.

They would have won if it weren't for that hit.

That was a devastating hit. He's going to be suspended for several games IMO but the damage will be worse for the Blues. Assuming they win the series against the Hawks their chances of winning the cup are significantly diminished.

Here's the hit to the head for those that missed it

Backes was down but eventually tried to stand unsteadily. I don't think he should be playing in the immediate future unless he's going to pull a Wes Welker and put himself at risk of being Jim McMahon at the age of 50. Will he be playing soon? Probably.

He'll be out the rest of the series at least.

Hawks get to head home and will probably take both honestly. Should be some dandy's.

yeah, that doesn't make any sense. there was plenty of time to realize he didn't have the puck. he probably didn't have the time to avoid all contact but he certainly had time to not drive his shoulder through the plexiglass

I didn't think it was that bad of a hit. Arm was down, wasn't trying to hit the head, right skate (the skate closest to the opposing player) was still on the ice. A suspension shouldn't be needed.

we'll have to agree to disagree with respect to that opinion
