And stupid people/media would rather talk about some QB not standing for national anthem. Here is a story about a kid eating alone, football player eats with him....not a lot of coverage. Guess "thug" stories gets more clicks and viewers.

I wish this was the kind of off the field sporting news we would read and hear about more often.

I went to high school and became friends with an autistic kid. I cried on the last day of school when I told him goodbye. He was one of the most inspiring people I have ever known. The only fight I ever got into in high school was when a group of guys was picking on him. I was absolutely enraged and charged into them swinging.

I'm happy for the kids mom too. Sucks you have to worry about your kid being alone at school, sitting by themselves, no friends. Hope the kid makes a lot of friends, become one of the "cool" kids.

Amazing what one simple kind act can do, very cool story. I'll be pulling for this kid on Saturdays.

CBS news showed it yesterday and the next day they showed a picture of all the kids eating with the boy.
I had tears!
