To be fair, FSU-Louisville wasn't in the middle of the rest of the CFB Saturday.

But the article/praise was only about games on ESPN cable networks (non ABC). Fox/CBS/ABC/NBC games weren't eligible for this distinction

Great number for that game considering it went against Saints-Panthers and Lebron's homecoming.

That was in response to the person who posted the CBS ratings

Yep, FSU has an appeal like the Jerry Springer show.

That was me, in the same post as the other ratings.

And I'd venture to guess that majority of these viewers, like myself, only tuned in once they saw FSU was in danger of losing.

Count me in this group. I was watching the Saints game and didn't flip over to the FSU game until the 3rd quarter when Louisville was collapsing

They are talking 3.something and 4 as being the biggest - there's nothing that everybody watches any more.

Florida / Georgia had a higher rating and there were other games to watch. A 3.5 when there are zero alternatives is pretty lame.

Y'all are just looking at the headlines and not realizing that FSU / Notre Dame did like a 7.9 a few weeks back.

To compare / contrast the iron bowl last year did an 8.2.

If you really want to get in a pissing match:
SEC Championship in 2013: 8.6
ACC Championship in 2013: 3.4

I'd be willing to bet a large amount of money that the only reason people tuned into that FSU game was because they were losing and everyone wanted to see that

I'm also willing to bet the WatchESPN numbers were so high because the game coincided with an NFC South matchup on NFL Network. I know I wasn't the only one in Louisiana with the Saints game on the TV and the FSU/UL game on my iPad via WatchESPN.
