I don't understand these lists leaving out peak Pedro
Not to mention some of you are choosing 2 pitchers over him

but Alomar is right there with Biggio and Utley imo.
I would put Alomar ahead of both of them.

I always liked Pedro and he is one of the greatest but I chose Smoltz and Glavine as personal favorites.

I'm going to melt over this
Jeter was a very good player but he's way over hyped.

Did I misunderstand this thread? Is it just "people I like"? If so, I apologize.
Nevermind

Not a comparison

I'd find a way to put Pedroia on for pure grit reasons, but he is not better than Cano and Utley.

Any list with Javy Lopez over Pudge is shite

Beltre > Chipper
Not a comparison
Chipper is the much better offensive player and produced a higher career fWAR in fewer games.
I can see the argument for Beltre, but not a comparison? Jesus Christ.
That's dumb, even for you.

Arenado does not belong in this discussion.
He wouldn't even make it just considering current third baseman. Josh Donaldson gets the nod over him, every day.
Gotta go with Big Hurt over Big Papi at DH too
Hits, RBI, and HR are all a wash between the two, but .301 vs .286 BA
Ortiz probably had a more consistent career start to finish, but peak Thomas was virtually unstoppable. Hence back to back MVP'S to none.

No Javy Lopez at C? Look up his 2003 season.

Your list sucks, but it should be Clemens/Maddux or Randy Johnson/Maddux
