man those vike teams were fun to watch, no idea how they lost to that Falcons team. A showdown between them and the Broncos would have been great.

1998 Vikings had the best offense I've ever seen. I also have no idea how the Falcons beat them. Chris Chandler had a career day. IMO, Minnesota would have handled Denver in the Super Bowl.

RIP

Even though his win-loss record in Arizona wasn't good, he still played a part in their future success.

Green, who died Friday morning at age 67, was hired by the Cardinals in January 2004. Three months later, he helped orchestrate the draft that would eventually transform the franchise. The Cardinals’ 2004 class included first-round pick Larry Fitzgerald, linebacker Karlos Dansby, defensive tackle Darnell Dockett, and defensive end Antonio Smith.

But yeah it's a shame he will probably be most remembered for that press conference.

Remembered just as much for coaching the greatest team in NFL history that never reached the Super Bowl.

Gary Anderson kept him from being the first African American head coach to reach the Super Bowl--8 years ahead of Dungy and Smith.

Sad news. Great coach--he made the playoffs each of his first 7 seasons if I remember correctly.

John Randle got hurt in that game also. I think maybe he already wasn't 100% before the game and then just played sparingly once it started.

I think Denver would have given them a lot of trouble in the Super Bowl with that ground attack but it definitely would have been a better game than what it was with ATL vs. Denver.

One of tGOAT rants. God speed Denny.

Heard earlier how Coach made Larry Fitzgerald a ball boy at Minnesota when Randy was there and that's what inspired Larry to become a bad arse WR.
