Lucia Ryjker is considered the greatest woman's pound for pound boxer and kickboxer in history. She currently is Ronda Rousey's boxing coach.

She retired with a 17-0 record with 14 KO's in boxing and a 37-0 record with 25 KO's in kickboxing. She looked completely unbeatable against women. It's easy to look unbeatable against women. Below is video of her fighting a mediocre man.

He not only destroyed her but made her look badly unskilled as well. Kept faking her out with basic feints.

Ronda Rousey could never touch Mayweather. He has the speed of a world class athlete, and he's smart enough not to get in a clinch with her. You guys who think she would beat him in an MMA fight live in a dream world.

Most A-level lightweight boxers would be far too fast for Rousey. They'd never allow her to get in a clinch with them. It would be brutal man beating up woman fights which is why you will never see it.

Boxing is highly underrated as a form of self-defense. The reason boxers have often performed poorly in MMA is because it's invariably some has-been just in it for a paycheck. They don't bother to cross train at all.

A great boxer who learns to defend against leg takedowns could be very successful in MMA.

BTW, Rousey doesn't even specialize in leg takedowns which is the best way for a mixed martial artist to defeat a boxer. She comes in straight up, judo style, which would make her extremely vulnerable to a defensive boxer.

I mean, beating up women is something Floyd seems to be pretty good at.

Since it's muay thai they stood up that entire fight.

This proves nothing.

TW, Rousey doesn't even specialize in leg takedowns

This is a ridiculous statement. She is a professional MMA fighter. She is an expert in leg takedowns.

FMM is completely inexperienced in leg takedown defense. I think she'd get him down easy enough.

Tomorrow she might, but he would be able to focus on training for that for months before the fight. He would probably be serviceable enough to defend against it and beat her up pretty badly.

But she wouldn't stand up with floyd obviously, so OP makes no sense

Why are so many people in this thread playing dumb and acting like nobody said Rousey would beat Mayweather? There have been several long threads on this board with many people saying she would destroy him.

Its such a dumb premise. I mean, there is literally nothing for Floyd to benefit from this. If he wins, he beat up a woman. If he loses, then he lost to a woman.

What sucks is RR is so much better than anyone else in woman's MMA she'll likely never get realistically challenged. She's in the same boat as Heavyweight boxing right now. There just isn't a lot of talent at the top.

It's not like he has any vested interest in promoting MMA and its fighters....

I was with you until

UFC has been around for 20+ years now. If it hasn't happened yet, it's wont.

There have been boxers who have transitioned to MMA and done very well. But they were all "nobody" boxers.

If one of the best boxers in his prime transitioned to MMA, he could be one of the best in the sport.

Plenty of kick boxers have gone into MMA without any previous ground experience and have done very well.

Floyd beating Ronda is obvious, but there's maybe about 10 guys in the UFC that he could beat, and that may be a generous number. Even the majority of the 125 pound guys would work him with ease.

I would prefer it if she just had him whacked before the fight, but thats just my preference.
