Results trump everything. Give me the guy who gets it done Over the guy who makes the best excuses when it doesn't get done.

That's a leader bro.

talking about how he's a terrible leader. Prove it. Do terrible leaders often elevate the play of everyone around them and lead teams to far surpass expectations at every level of football they have played?
that should just about shut it down right there

I have proven it. Others have proven it. When his team is losing, he shuts down. Congrats on keep saying the 3 times he has led his team to victory when he was down. I guess the only times they do lose is when they give up the lead right? His actions after the game prove to me he is not a leader. Not answering the questions. Not going after the fumble when down by 6 in the 4th quarter. Don't you think a true leader of the team would have done anything to keep the ball in his possession? Do anything at all to win the SB? You keep posting the 10 point deficits. I ask a question to you and you did not answer. How come he could not LEAD his team to victory only being down by 6? If he is such a LEADER you are claiming he is, 6 points should have been easy for him. I have proven my point. Now prove yours.

I guess the only true leader in the NFL is manning since his was the only team who won their last game.

If brees, Rodgers, Wilson were great leaders, why couldn't they lead their team to wins over the panthers. The panthers don't even have a leader right? They just have cam. How could these great qbs not win out over cam? Prove it to me.

0-1 in SB trumps everything over the regular season. You are right about that. Aikmen won 3 SB. Started off on a 1-15 team. Did not make excuses. He won. Manning started on 3-13 team. Did not make excuses. Tell me again about the results? We talking regular season or playoff victories? Maybe Cam can get a trophy that says he is the best in the regular season. Print the shirts too.

Not a wuss, just a selfish, sore loser who acted exactly the way his detractors said he would if faced with adversity. In the biggest play of his life, he flinched. He hesitated. He shied away. He gave up. He quit. He became everything we all knew he was. A fake.

Where was he when it mattered most? In the Super Bowl?

Complete lack of character.

Not particularly a Newton fan I'm more of a Seahawks guy but when people are saying a qb who just lead a team to 17-1 and to the super bowl while winning the MVP isn't a leader ... Well that's one of the dumbest things I've seen here in a while. Cam is throwing TD passes to guys who shouldn't even be in the league. Being a leader means you elevate the play of guys around you if cam didn't do that this past season it's never been done.

Those other QBs you mention take in the team aspect. They don't showboat when winning and they take the blame for losses. Until Cam realizes that as a professional athlete and can deal with adversity on a mature level, he will never be regarded as a true leader. It has to deal with his character. He makes it all about him. Never says he can get better or done a better job in a loss. I realize you are slow on a lot of things so I want you to read this a few times. Football is a team sport. Cam has a " look at me mentality". That is my biggest issue with him. He is immature. My whole point is that he should act in a professional manner when he wins and loses. Be happy when winning but don't sulk and act like a little whiny bitch when he loses.

Regarded as a true leader by who? His teammates are the only ones that matter not some slapstick online. To them cam is their leader. For you to say that he isn't a leader when the people who he leads say he is their leader makes you look throwed off bro. You don't determine if he is a leader. His teammates do.

Brees took a team decimated by the biggest natural disaster and a 4th to last pick in the draft, from Hostra, and led them to the NFC champ his first year, a Super Bowl championship by year four, and made that draft pick the best WR in franchise history, while breaking decades-old records.

But Cam has "skills" nobody ever see before-sic.

Who is better?

Delhomme led Carolina to the SB, and had a better game that time. His defense let him done. Cam let his defense down.

Being a leader to you is a QB who throws TD passes to players who should not be in the league? Lol. Isn't that what a QB should do? Throw TD passes? Practically every QB elevates their players on the team that way lol. Only a few in the league don't do that. My issue with him not being a leader is that he has a "selfish" attitude. The "dab", the "superman" pose, the way he acts when winning. When losing he is by himself, sulking, and looking like he is ready to go home. How is that a good leader?

Cams o line let him down. Cams front office let him down by giving him shite for WRs. And he still lead them to 17-1/super bowl. Made chicken salad outta Tedd ginn.

How many games did they lose, 2 all year? Who was most responsible for that? Cam. He lead them to the best record in the league. If you're a results oriented guy like me there wasn't a better leader in the NFL last season. Unfortunately you're not a results guy you define leadership by who makes the best excuses for his team losing in the press conference after the game. Whereas I look at what happened during the game and that tells me who's leading out there
