I like how they left out the part that the kids were probably drinking and smoking dope in the house and having a party. They leave details like that out

That was used for one purpose, to paint Floyd in a more negative light. Bad journalism, if you're a columnist sure, but just reporting you have to be better than that.

I don't see the issue here at all. Just a headlock? Not a big deal, if he would punch at him that is a whole different story. He's not that dumb though.

Who's to say this kid didn't try to get violent with him and rather than whipping his arse Floyd put him in the choke hold to calm him down? I don't really see a problem with this. Cops, bouncers, and other "authority" figures use the chokehold all the time to subdue someone that is trying to be violent.
