If you could get tickets for any two consecutive days for The Masters, what two days would you choose and why?

Probably Wednesday and Thursday. Par 3 contest is supposedly very fan friendly and then you'd also get an entire day of tournament action by going on Thursday.

Agreed, and Thursday is when they have easier pins and lower scores.

Saturday Sunday. Because I've always wanted to be at the masters on Sunday

Would get the full experience of Saturday and Sunday even if it is more crowded. You get to see "moving day" and the final groups on Sunday.

I've heard mixed feelings about Wednesday and the Par 3 contest. You don't get to experience the actual course for most of the day.

Sure you do. There are still players out playing on the course and you can still walk it same as any other day. What we did last year was walk the course the first few hours then went and posted up at the Par 3. It's pretty awesome

I've done Friday (2014) and have tickets for the Monday practice rounds for this year.

If I had a choice, I'd definitely do Saturday/Sunday.

I would think for the first time, Saturday & Sunday is when you go. Experience the final two rounds.

1. Saturday and Sunday
2. Friday and Saturday
3. Wednesday and Thursday

I've been to every day at least once and those are my three favorite combo days. The weekend at the Masters is so much better than any other day. The excitement, the leaders, the roars. It's the best. I've gotten to where I like to watch Sunday on the TV since it is hard to see exactly what's going on, so I would like Friday and Saturday. As stated, Wednesday practice round (which is much more laid back than the tournament) and Thursday with the full field would be my non-weekend option.

My thoughts were either Thursday/Friday or Wednesday/Thursday.

The full field is making me want to stay away from the weekend. I want to be able to be there the whole day and watch as much golf as possible.

I'd also like the Park 3 Contest, but I'm nervous if it rains out on Thursday, I won't see any of the actual tournament.

I can understand why you would want to go for the Thurs/Fri days. There is always the possibility you would not see a golfer you wanted to if he didn't make the cut.

Outside of the year Zach Johnson won, the weather is usually cooperative. I can guarantee that no matter what day you go it will be an amazing experience.

If money was no object: Saturday and Sunday.

You got about 5G's to drop per person?

Wednesday and Thursday. Can take a camera on Wednesday and par 3 day. Can also walk the course with fewer crowds due to many moving over to the par 3 course or leaving once the players finish up for the day. And full day of action on Thursday.

non-consecutive... I'd take Thursday and Sunday.

I've been for practice rounds and weekend rounds...last year I went on Monday and Sunday. Personally...for a first timer I would say a practice round because it is WAY less crowded...the golfers are more friendly and interact with the patrons. The competition is obviously more intense for tournament play. I guess it just depends on what you want out of it. Either way...you are going to have a blast.

ETA:

Just read the question a little closer...two days in a row I would do thursday and friday...more people in the field and less crowded. More merchandise options - unfortunately they will run out.

I thought they cleared the golf course at like 2:00 on Wednesday? I didn't think any golfers were allowed on the course that afternoon?

I really don't understand how this is a debate - Saturday and Sunday for sure.

I understand what you're saying too. But the crowds are so large on weekend it makes it harder to get around and see the golf that you can earlier in the week...I'm assuming you've been?

I've been to two practice rds. One in '13 and one last year. I've walked every inch of that course and now I'm ready to deal with the crowds during a tournament round. I hope I get that chance eventually

Wednesday and Thursday. I loved getting to watch the par 3 and practice rounds because the players are more accessible. The weekend would be a madhouse and you don't get to see as much golf, would rather watch the weekend rounds on live TV.
