Due to the pick six, the long halftime and the Pats getting the ball first in the 3rd it was 68 minutes of real time that elapsed between Falcons snaps on offense

That is amazing but it Didn't effect their defense and cause it to collapse.

It really was two separate games in reality

They were a momentum team and fed off of the good plays that they made and their momentum quickly was erased early in the second half. There was already a different feel early that half.

45+ minute halftimes are sb normal. Longer halftime was brought up by radio talkers long before gameday as patriots advantage due to experience.

What mattered most:

Sack of matty ice; No run.
Patriots won two in a row on bad play calling by opponent.

Even though I think blaming the loss on this is horsecrap, I do believe Super Bowl halftimes are to long. Have all that shite before or after the game.

FWIW, I dont really care about the halftime show either and having a super long show sucks.

Id rather watch football.

But the NFL is slowly turning into WWF.

gave up 2 point plays on two TDs.
did not try onsides kick to open the OT.
did not go for it on 4th down.

That's a pathetic excuse, the collapse didn't start until late 3rd quarter anyway.
