Ouch! ATL sports radio from Thursday thru last night were broadcasting from Houston like 80k ATL fans made the trip! Then they'd have a few minutes melt of being upset with the NFL for not allowing the GA Dome to be open today for fans to pile in and watch on the big screens.

This sounds more like it bc why make it sound on sports radio like ATL fans representing if they were not. Good reply on the BS OP!

t I know the city of Atlanta is fricking hyped for this team as evidenced by the twenty or so thousand fans sending them off at Atlantic station last weekend

The Varsity was representing Saturday afternoon. Almost everyone walking in & out were in Red & Black of some combination. Flags on cars, banners on buildings. (Still a typical July type feel if walking around NOLA). However to be fair, ATL is a transplant city and they have several professional teams and two local strongly supported college teams.

Has anyone seen the ticket allocation for the Super Bowl? I have a friend who has had season tickets for 25 years and didn't make the cut to get tickets.

I think only 9,000 tickets are allocated to the teams. And Atlanta is a corporation based town so the types of people that would go to an NFL pep rally are not going to be in Houston.

I live inside the loop in Houston and have been out all weekend. There are for sure more Falcons fans here than Pats

Hasn't even been close, including all 3 block parties yesterday

But I expect the falcons fans probably have more a downtown and fanfare presence with this being their first one in a long time
