For the first time since 1999, the Atlanta Falcons have advanced to the Super Bowl, but it doesn’t seem like many fans made the trip with them down to Houston for support.

The team had a scheduled pep rally for the team at 2:00pm, but it was cancelled last minute because of the lack of fans in H-town.

You whiff on one report last week about brady retiring and missing the game and no one wants to give you a 2nd chance

From everything I've seen there is a solid 10k+ Falcons fans down there. They were broadcasting on the radio today from the Falcons meet up bar down in Houston and they said it was packed with Falcons fans... I don't know one way or the other but I know the city of Atlanta is fricking hyped for this team as evidenced by the twenty or so thousand fans sending them off at Atlantic station last weekend

I'm actually surprised at the number of people I know who are making the trip. Most of them are business associates with money, but with airfare prices what they are, I thought it might be a little more of a hindrance.

I've got a buddy that lives in ATL and who works in sports media, and he said that was BS.

Why are they holding a rally in Houston in the first place? Why not hold a rally in Atlanta before the team departs for Houston?

I just came from the super bowl festivities. I saw probably 3 times as many falcons fans as patriots fans.
