I hope he has 0 sacks and 0 tackles cause he refuses to play without holding onto the pic of grandma. One hand in the dirt, the other holding the pic. Never puts it down.

Can someone elaborate on the death of his grandma? Is he suspected of stabbing her?

I checked his Wikipedia and did a quick google search and nothing came up.

you couldn't script a better satirical piece about the nfl than that

he was just so ghetto. he was doing that i'm pumped up routine but at such an inappropriate moment and the picture of grandma looks like something from boyz n the hood and his name is takkarist. all the while the broadcast team is trying to keep the appearance that all of this is normal. i'll probably watch this a million times before I stop laughing.

anyone who finds that inspirational rather than fricking hysterical is dead inside or afraid of finding the humor in it...or they're really ghetto but even deion started creating space between them.

Great fit for the defense. This was Quinn's guy. After he talked to him on the phone in the war room, Quinn was fricking pumped.

As for the on-stage interview and the framed picture, I thought it was hysterical and amazing. It was hilarious, but it was also cool to see someone live out his dream.

While many players have come from tough backgrounds, Takk had it pretty rough by any standards. His mother abandoned his family when he was five and he grew in Richmond (think Coach Carter "Rich-what"). He got a D1 scholarship to Cal, but had to go to a JUCO for a year because they said he was non-qualified. It ended up that his high school miscounted his number of credits (how is this possible?) and he was eligible, so he went to UCLA for his sophomore to senior seasons. Biggest concern right now is medical issues, but this is a great fit.

If there were any other team, the majority of this board would say this was a great pick.

Yeah because most coaches get off the phone with the prospects and are upset and not happy

and somewhere along the way the commentary became ridiculous.

if you didn't know anything about the NFL you'd think every one of these kids is headed to the HOF instead of prison.

While watching it live, I thought it was pretty funny.

You're making it not funny.

SJW's throw around the notion that white people are genuinely scared of all black people, which is ludicrous.

However, when I watched him grunting and yelling about nonsense, I was scared of him. Even Deon Sanders looked uncomfortable around him.

nah dude. People see how much of a fool he is for acting like that. Being unstable and not being able to control your emotions is something to question in a player.

Every once in a while Fox Mulder's asperger's sticks out more than usual. This thread is one of those times.
