There are no great teams anymore. The NFL is extremely watered-down due to expansion and the salary cap.

Texans will make it out the first round especially if they get home field. They have the ability to score as well as a solid D.

Falcons will not, They are just not that good. They can score points at times, but there D is very Shotty. As long as they have Matty Melt Ryan as a QB they will go nowhere.

You guys are being unfairly hard on the Texans while giving other teams a pass. For example... the Texans lost to Green Bay and New England. But they also beat Denver, Baltimore, and Chicago.

You guys say the Texans haven't beaten anybody.

You guys say New England and Denver are two of the best teams in the NFL. So lets look at their records, shall we?

New England lost to Arizona, Baltimore, and Seattle. Their best wins are Denver, Indy, and Houston.

Denver lost to Houston, Atlanta, and New England. Their best win is Pittsburgh. Seriously... They haven't had hardly any good wins.

So the people who say Houston hasn't beaten anybody while giving New England a pass for losing to Arizona and Seattle and giving Denver a pass for not beating anybody and also having more losses, you don't know what you are talking about.

Did you expect to come on this message board and read rational thoughts when it comes to HOU and especially ATL? Sorry wrong forum.

I'd pick the Steelers, Pats, and Broncos all over Houston in a playoff matchup.

I'd pick SF, NYG, and GB all over ATL.

If the Texans lose at home to Indy next week, I'd say th Colts will likely win the South.

I'd pick GB, not SF. Will decide on NYG after this weekend.

You could add a few more to that list as well. Atl just isn't very good. There record is so over inflated it's not funny. They just lost to Carolina and really should have lost the first time to them.

The Falcons-Saints rivalry hasn’t been much of a rivalry lately, because the Falcons haven’t been doing much winning when they play the Saints.

tell us more about how you feel towards ATL

If the Falcons beat the Giants, Chicago knocks off Green Bay and New England continues their hot streak against the 49ers, I do believe the Falcons would wrap up Home Field Advantage.

Why are you guys so high on the Broncos? They lost to both Houston and Atlanta... the two teams that almost everybody in this thread says are overrated.

Since the Broncos last loss, they've beaten the Chargers, Saints, Bengals, Panthers, Chargers, Chiefs, Bucs, and Raiders.

A nice streak... but all against terrible teams.

The Broncos are a solid team, but I don't get why people all of a sudden think they are the best team in the NFL after beating juggernauts like the Chiefs and Raiders.

I agree with all of that.

I think NE is the team to beat in the AFC

Yeah, you clearly have no bias. Is someone going to wipe away your tears when we do win a playoff game?

Safe bet: the Saints will not make it past the first round of the playoffs.

I have no idea why you are higher on GB than SF. As a Lions fan, I get to see plenty of GB...and I'm just not seeing "it" out of them this year. I would be surprised if they made any significant noise in the playoffs.

. But, hypothetically, if they didnt, they woudln't get past the first round.

More faith in Rodgers than Kaepernick for one.

No not at all. I've been through many shitty seasons as a saints fan. It happens. I was just looking at the Texans schedule for the yr and realized they haven't beaten anyone worth a crap. Yes they beat Manning and the broncos in week 3. Other than that all I remember is them barely beating Jacksonville and getting smoked on national tv the last time by Green Bay. As for the Falcons well not winning playoff games is just what they do.

Baltimore, Chicago, there aren't really many good teams in the AFC.....who is after Patriots and Broncos? Baltimore, Pitt, Indy they still have to play twice, and Cincy? Honestly no other good teams, sorry for playing the schedule, its not like there is anyone who has more than 3 strong games.
