No they didn't. If that was the case, Georgia & tOSU would be in.

They absolutely did. FSU is a P5 team that played two SEC teams OOC (and won), went undefeated, and won their conference.

They literally couldn't have done anything more.

"Well FSU's win against Louisville wasn't impressive"....as if Alabama needing a slate of crazy errors and a hail Mary to beat a shite Auburn team just never happened.

Bama got in because of their name over a team that won every single game, including two games against teams from the very conference they are touting as the reason why Bama got in over FSU.

It's pure committee bias in favor of Alabama. Anyone who can't see it is being willfully ignorant.

Doesn’t FSU bring in serious TV numbers?

Nothing close to Ohio State or Bama, the two programs who've been helped by the committee more than anyone else.

What channel has exclusive rights to air the playoff committee announcement show? What channel will be airing all of the playoff games? What channel will have the exclusive rights to televise all SEC games beginning next season?

Exactly. It’s the ESPN Invitational.

College football, watch all year even though the regular season doesn’t matter one bit.

Like last year? If you are talking about TCU, hell, they proved they made the right choice when TCU won their semifinal game.

Nobody wanted to see Michigan stomp all over TCU last year as well......oh, wait, let me retract that.

Are all of you now claiming FSU isn't a big brand?

As compared to Bama and Texas? Nope. Compared to Cincy? Sure

I find it hilarious that a lot of people on this board think all bowls NOT included in the NY6 are irrelevant but also want or support the same damn teams in the CFP every year

Might as well disband all college football teams except maybe 5-6 of them

This tells me no one on the committee grew up in the 90s… here I am thinking they’re as much of a blue blood of CFB as anyone

I’ve heard that war chant so much it’s burned in my head

Things get solved to some degree next year. The last decade + of committee-centric BCS and small playoff format finally met its match.

If you’re gonna go in with playoffs they should’ve started with the 12 team format years ago.

They are a Tier 2 program, so they are below Texas, Bama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, to name a few.

Why Stephen. A blames TCU for Florida State CFP snub "It's a business and FSU won't bring in as much money as Alabama and Texas"

I have come to accept this is the way big business works and there ain't shite anyone can do about it.

Yeah, because they look real smart right now.

They may look a lot smarter when Alabama wins it all and Georgia boat races Florida State. I'm not saying that I necessarily want this to happen, just saying that it may well play out this way. And if you tell me you don't think this is a plausible scenario, you're lying.

For all of you citing TCU getting blown out:

Why didn’t the committee get leery of Alabama after they lost 44-16? Or falling apart in the 4th quarter against UGA?

Or Ohio State getting blown out 52-24?

Or Michigan getting their arse handed to them two years in a row?

Why is Washington back in when they got blown out by Bama in 2017?

They don’t seem to mind blowouts when the “right” teams are playing.

All teams are equal. Some are more equal than others.

It’s not a playoff, it’s an invitational.
