Why Stephen. A blames TCU for Florida State CFP snub

"It's a business and FSU won't bring in as much money as Alabama and Texas"

Yeah let's be honest with ourselves, this was a big part of it, right or wrong be damned. Nobody wants to watch FSU get stomped by Michigan.

Nobody wants to see Boise State get stomped by Oklahoma

Nobody wants to see the USA beat Russia

Nobody wants to see UMBC upset Virginia

I LOVE WATCHING the favorites ALWAYS WIN!!! SO FUN!

Of course thats part of it. Does the committee want to look stupid like they did last year? They sat through that brutal ACCCG like everyone else.

Was last year that bad? TCU won their playoff before the final. That makes a big difference. Not every title game in every sport is close. Now, if TCU had lost the semis 65-7 and were controversial getting it, that would be completely different.

Welcome to “NCAA football” the sport where everything's made up and the points don't matter.

The same Michigan that lost to TCU last year?

How can you possibly know this?

Stephen A's opinion is definitely evidence for something being true.

The whole TCU argument makes no sense in terms of the blowout in the championship game.

They upset Michigan in the playoffs. Completely different scenario here.

Or Oregon run over Washington.....

If we are going to play that game, then just simulate the entire regular season and have the 4 best teams the computer decides.

The committee 100% just said the regular season doesn't matter.

Is defense not roughly half the game? People pointing toward the ACC championship as a “dismal” performance… is it not possible for FSU to grind out a 17-14 win over Michigan?

What channel has exclusive rights to air the playoff committee announcement show?

What channel will be airing all of the playoff games?

What channel will have the exclusive rights to televise all SEC games beginning next season?

Only Bama is allowed to win ugly games. In the ACC you must win every game on both side of the ball and “impress” while doing it

Have you been manning the phones doing the polling all day or are you just making it up?

I don't know why people keep saying this.

JJ McCarthy has averaged 124 YPG passing with a grand total of 1 TD in the last 4 games. Their three best wins are against Penn State (fired OC), Ohio State (QB in the portal), and Iowa (firing OC).

So what suggests that Michigan would stomp FSU? Both have shown they can keep winning ugly with strong defenses and solid running games. Yet one team is #1 and the other wasn't allowed to participate.
