The only remotely close career path anyone has had has to be Sandy Koufax

Not to diminish that or anything because he had an amazing night and is the best player in the league, but wouldn't that indicate guys were bunched up pretty close? Kinda like a running back having a 180 yard game and jumping way up the rushing leader list halfway through the year.

Eta: if for an entire year, apologies for misreading.

The point is he hit a full games worth of threes in one quarter. This is like a RB had a 100 yard quarter

This isn't the 3 pt leader list for this year. It is for 3 pointers in a full year. As of now, he is 14th on the list, with how many games left this season?

He's passing guys towards the top of the "most 3 pt FG made in a single season" list, and we aren't even at the ASB.

Stephen Curry has made more threes in the last three seasons than Larry Bird made in his career.

Let's also not forget that Curry is #15 in FG% with 51.1% on the year. Tony Parker is the only other non PF or C in the top 15 at 52.1%, but Curry has 478 more attempts than Parker. Parker only attempted 436 to Curry's 914.

Curry also has 222 more attempts than anyone in the top 15. #2 is Andre Drummond.

so he's on pace to shatter his own record of 286 by over 100 makes. that's just absurd
