Appears to me that you think Eli is better than Brady, because he has beaten Brady twice in the Superbowl. I think surrounding players, defenses, etc. also play a role.

Eli is elite although a lot of haters don't want to give him credit because he doesn't do it like Rodgers, Brady, Peyton, or Brees.

Yeah..it's really interesting that you left out interceptions, completion percentage and QB ratings, all three of which Brady is not only superior than Manning, but it isn't even close.

The most INT Brady has ever thrown in a season is 14. Eli's second best year for INT is 14.

I don't think the OP realizes that he's making a better example of how average Brady was before '07 than how good Eli is.
Everybody gives Brady credit for "winning" three Super Bowls, but they forget that Brady was never considered in Manning's league during the period he actually won those Super Bowls.
Peyton was head and shoulders above him, even in public perception, until '07.

I still maintain quarterbacks get too much credit for winning Super Bowls. Manning was good last night. But just like in 2008, you could have easily given the MVP to the entire defense. They were stellar again.

Brady was actually above average pre-2007. He had a few bad games early on in his career, but he was average in 2001. Anywhere from above average to very good (Eli territory) from 2002-2006, sensational in 2007, and elite from 2009 to the present day.

Brady was considered elite because of the super bowls. He was basically Eli, Big Ben like early in his career. A pretty good QB, but not really elite in terms of stats. Then 2007 came and he went nuts.

Like when the gave up the 96yard drive before the half? The Giants offense did just a good of job keeping Brady off the field with drives as much as the Defense. Defense didn't pressure Brady all night until the last couple of series.

sorry, i'm probably projecting my personal feelings onto him. i hate ben and brady. but brady is without a doubt one of the top 5 qbs i've seen play. even if ben was, i don't think i could admit it. thankfully, he's not.
