He's the worst to win 2.

Different was the worst to win "just" one.

Ben Roethlisberger may not be the worst, but his performance in XL is certainly the worst performance to win one.

This thread speaks directly to the outright futility of expecting intelligent discourse on TD.

I believe EM has the most road playoff wins in history as a QB

I'd need to see some stats on that, but it is partly misleading since better QBs help their teams win enough games that they get some home playoff games and or a bye and don't have to win as many road games to get deep in the playoffs.

Eli had the most playoff road wins at 5 until Flacco passed him with 6, recently

If you had to pick one QB in the NFC right now to go play a road playoff game in Green Bay (which means you can't pick Rodgers) and the game time temperature is 10 degrees, who are you taking?

Same question for the AFC, only swap out Green Bay and Rodgers for New England and Brady.

For the NFC, I would pick Eli and not think twice about it.

For the AFC, I would flip a coin between Flacco and Roethlisberger and be happy with either choice.

if Browner was a QB maybe? Reading is not your best asset I'm guessing.

You are an idiot for saying Bradsahaw doesn't deserve to be in the HOF...You are just another young poster that goes just by stats.....

no, most people just overrate bradshaw because he was fortunate enough to have the best defense in the nfl for years. his actual numbers are pedestrian (51% 212 TDs and 210 INTs for his career)

I think you have to take Eli, just because he has shown he can do it in bad weather.

Palmer, while a great QB this year has not won a cold weather playoff game, that I am aware of. But the thing that helps him especially this year is the running game and the Defense that the Cards have.

This topic is totally unfair to Eli Manning. He has always been a bit prone to committing turnovers, but this is not unique to Manning only.

What Manning does have is two Super Bowl wins. There are only 10 other quarterbacks that can claim multiple Super Bowl wins. Seven are retired, six of which are in the HoF. The other three? Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, and Tom Brady. All three of these players will be joining the aforementioned six in the HoF someday.

Two of the quarterbacks on the list of multiple Super Bowl wins, Troy Aikman and Terry Bradshaw, were very underwhelming players on great teams. Manning is better than both. You might even be able to argue that Manning is a better quarterback than Bob Griese, who also won multiple Super Bowls.

In any case, Eli Manning is far from the GOAT, but far from the worst. Totally unfair and unjustified topic.

I find it rather odd people take Bradshaw down on numbers, but hype others based soley on stats. Bradshaw was the last to call his own plays. Had big moments in big games, was a multiple time Pro Bowler.

Bradshaw had 1 All-Pro season in his 14 year career. He had the great fortune of playing on a great team.

4× Super Bowl Champion (IX, X, XIII, XIV)
2× Super Bowl MVP (XIII, XIV)
He was a multiple Pro Bowler, that is a list worthy of a HOF career.
3× Pro Bowl (1975, 1978, 1979)
AP First-Team All-Pro (1978)
4× AFC Champion (1974, 1975, 1978, 1979)
NFL MVP (AP, MX, 1978)
NFL Quarterback of the Year (1978)
2× Pittsburgh Steelers Team MVP (1977, 1978)
2× NFL Passing TDs Leader (1978, 1982)
Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year (1979)
NFL 1970s All-Decade Team
Pittsburgh Steelers #12 no longer issued

Super Bowls are team accomplishments. Manning is an OK QB who had 2 nice runs. If he gets in the Hall and he probably will, to me it indicates a lowering of standards and the ultra lazy "RINGS" argument in which you are engaging.

It is hard to compare current players to guys like Bradshaw and Griese who played under entirely different rules with entirely different offenses.

Aikman clearly benefited from having great talent around him, but that should not hurt him either. Without all those guys he probably doesn't have the 3 rings, but if he was foreced to he could have put up numbers like Marino, Fouts, Kelly etc.
