Doesn't sound like he did anything wrong from that article.. the fact that he said pass as game used could be interpreted in different ways..

did you even read the fricking article?

That's a BS story. Eli asking for helmets that can pass as game used doesn't mean shite. Are these teams equipment staffs supposed to separate helmets that were worn in games v helmets worn in practice. Gtfo.
Posted on 4/13/17 at 5:33 pm to wildtigercat93
His agent asked for something, and he asked the equipment guy for it.
Doesn't look like there is much more to it.

you're down playing it as much as the OP overreacted
his agent asked for something because he was contractually obligated to give game worn jerseys from the super bowl to the memoribilia dealer that he has a contract with.
It's not like he asked for it to give to a neighborhood kid. There will be ramifications

What? I just thought it was an interesting story that's developing. It's crazy to me that he would be involved at all since he's a millionaire QB. It would be a weird story if it were Rothlisberger, Rodgers or anyone else at that level

I just quoted the tweet from the NY post. I'm not acting like this is watergate
Posted on 4/13/17 at 5:41 pm to wildtigercat93
I always just assumed that most of the "game worn" memorabilia probably wasn't
Posted on 4/13/17 at 5:41 pm to wildtigercat93

If I was a buyer of such things, when it came to football, if I didn't see the paint color of the other team they were playing on the gear, I wouldn't buy it.

18-1 is nothing to be ashamed of
let it go
let it go
Posted on 4/13/17 at 5:44 pm to Lester Earl
Well my point was that it's crazy that he's involved at all. Seems like there would be a degree of seperation for all that
Posted on 4/13/17 at 5:45 pm to Kafka
Tell that to the NY post that broke the story
Posted on 4/13/17 at 10:46 pm to wildtigercat93
I mean if it has his sweat and signature I can still fap to it

Damn, $5000 for a game used helmet. Sucks that the previous owner didn't show pictures of the helmet missing the Velcro straps in the listing.

Right, nothing wrong with selling something as "game used" for thousands on dollars when it really isn't, the. Keeping the valuable memorabilia for yourself. What could be wrong with that?
Posted on 4/14/17 at 7:48 am to wildtigercat93
Was he trying to sell 2003 Ole Miss SEC Championship game worn jersies?
