In reality Jordan has more staying power than anyone in history because his brand has carried generations.

Will have to see how long lebron is selling shoes and stuff. We may not be able to accurately judge until lebron has been away from the league for a while

In this conversation though, the on the court performance matters.

You're right in the general sense of how the masses will view things, but I could not care any less about that stuff when I'm talking about who is the better basketball player.

I'm just enjoying the disrespectful LeBron. Dude is going through 4 defenders for reverse layups just for a challenge. His confidence is at an all time high

Same here. Just wish he had always played like this, instead of trying to be humble about it, like he didn't know he's the best player in the world.

Just seems like he's playing with the mindset of, I'm the best, this is the way it is and the way it's going to be.

LeBron is the GOAT.

After they beat the Warriors, I think a lot of people will feel this way.

Agreed. Beating them last year cemented his legacy as one of the best ever. He defeated the best regular season team ever with the first unanimous MVP in league history. He did this with an epic 3-1 comeback where he was by far the best player on the floor evidenced by his leading the series in every statistical metric, and he won a championship for fricking CLEVELAND. Beating them again after they went and added Durant would cement him as the GOAT.

Who could they get that would put them in a position to compete with Cleveland? Paul George? Jimmy Butler? Either in conjunction with signing Gordon Hayward? Is that even good enough to take the East from Lebron?

not sure if they acquire PG or butler or howard that they would take the east from the cavs, but they have to try, because they'll be lucky to win a game against them this series

but to make the conversation interesting, I think paul george is the 2nd best player in the East, and him going to the celtics would give them as good of a chance to challenge for the east as you could hope for

Celtics got lucky against both Chicago and Washington.

Completely overmatched.

Is the scoreboard fricked up?

Shouldn't the Celtics only have 42?

Not even 4 minutes played this quarter and the Cavs have 17 points. They've given up on defense already though.

Celtics with 19 points in the first, 20 in the second, but 13 already here in the 3rd in less than 4 minutes.

Only problem is Cleveland has 17 in less than 4 minutes in the 3rd.

Has a higher seed ever been swept in the playoffs? If so, there's no way it happened in the conference finals.

If Rondo didn't get hurt, the Celtics would've got swept in the First Round.
