You don't think Bosh is very good? I'm sure Wade's next contract will be even more reduced, so not too worried about him.

But Bosh/Durant/Dragic/Whiteside, that's not exactly a lineup to scoff at.

KD/Westbrook/Ibaka/Kanter

OR

KD/Bosh/34-year old DWade/Dragic/Whiteside

Miami roster would be good but it's a better lineup in OKC with a better bench (Morrow, Adams, DJ Augustin, McGary, etc)

Props to KD. Anyone who wishes to stay in OKC for more than 5 days is a saint

How can they celebrate Kobe for staying with Lakers. It is one of the historic franchises. Plus he has been the cancer teammate there for over a decade.

Valid point but it doesn't guarantee him a championship. Just an easier reg. season/playoff road to the Finals.

Is going to stay:

"I love it [in OKC], man. I love my teammates, I love the city, I don't really think about anywhere else," Durant told Revolt TV in a recent interview. "I hear it all the time, don't get me wrong, and once you hear it you're kind of like [looks up, thinking]. But for me, I love staying in the moment, and I'm one of those guys that would love to stick it out with one team my whole career."

Undecided at this point:

Would the Clippers have cap room to sign him next season if they don't resign Jordan? CP3/Griffin/Durant

Those are all positives and appropriate for a guy like him in the position he is in... but it falls short of saying "I will be staying in OKC"

FWIW I hope he does. I agree with him about the legacy issue and the idea of him and RW being one of the great duos in NBA history is pretty cool

He needs to leave OKC. Go to a bigger market. He's ready to leave the farm and see the city.

I think when he casts the doubt "you don't know how a team will feel down the road" has a lot to do with his recent injury.

But luckily for him, OKC would be the type of team (for better or for worse) to look past any potential lingering effects and offer him that 5 year of the new max that only they can offer.

We'll see what happens, but this is the most positive thing he's said in the last 2 years, and it comes after such a shitty year for the Thunder and him.

That doesn't matter to a player of his caliber

That has more to do with him taking random deals that other athletes have never taken.
Isn't he sonics first ever athlete endorser or something?

I don't think he needs a bigger market but if he was in ny or la or something his endorsement money would increase drastically
