Johnny Manziel's second agent this offseason, Drew Rosenhaus, has informed the former Cleveland Browns quarterback that either he gets treatment or Rosenhaus no longer will represent him, the agent told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
"I have terminated the standard representation with Johnny Manziel in the hopes of helping him get the treatment I believe he needs," Rosenhaus said. "I have informed him that if he takes the immediate steps I have outlined for him that I will rescind the termination and continue to represent him. Otherwise the termination will become permanent. There is a five-day window for me to rescind the termination. I'm hoping he takes the necessary steps to get his life back on track."

Damn, Johnny football better get it right this time. He'll likely be in treatment before the week is up.

If we've learned anything, Johnny does whatever the hell he pleases

You've got to be a special breed of screwed up if Drew rosenhaus thinks you have too much baggage

Let me rephrase it. If Johnny wants to play football in 2016, then he better find himself in treatment by the end of the week.

Manziel has decided he doesn't want a football career.

I'm no pro scout/GM/coach, but what hell were the Browns (or any other NFL team contemplating) drafting this guy for ? He's short, has no arm, and had numerous character issues coming in. Did they actually think this guy was going to succeed in the NFL ? Doug Flutie had the arm, the intangibles, and was a character guy, but he too was short. I can only surmise that they did it to sell tickets ?

I'd be tempted to bet everything in my 401k on the over.

They fell for all of the antics and stupidity. Also Jimmy Haslam wanted to sell tickets, badly. That is what happens when the owner meddles too much in the football side of things.

All the "OMG JUST LET JOHNNY LIVE" cheerleaders have gotten super quiet lately

His "mental illness" is acting a plumb fool and giving no fricks.
Cute as a kid, annoying as a teen, brash/independent as a college guy.
Downright fricking stupid as an adult.

Exactly. I don't buy that he has some sort of illness or he's even an addict. I think he's just a spoiled child who has no interest in doing what it takes to have a sucessful NFL career.
Although I'm sure years from now when everyone is finally over his shite he'll play the "addict" card again.

Manziel was at the tipping point when he went to A&M. Sumlin could have saved his life by punishing him for his racially based assault situation before he ever became famous. Instead, Kevin ruined his life by starting him with no consequences.

You may be trolling but I agree to an extent. Everyone saw it coming. He could have used some tough love but Sumlin seemingly didn't give him that. It's a shame that CFB has come to that TBH.

I'm of the belief that some people just can't be saved. Manziel only has himself to blame for what's already happened in his life and what will happen in the future. This guy is just going to have to hit rock bottom before he turns it around. I just hope he survives being at rock bottom.
