2015

Kevin white -bust
Devin Smith -bust

2014

Sammy Watkins
Mike Evans

2013

Tavon Austin - 120 catches in 3 years top 10 pick bust
Deandre Hopkins

2012

Justin blackmon - bust
Kendall wright - bust

2009

Jeremy maclin
Percy harven - going to classify as a bust. Because he is an abysmal route runner and pass catcher. He's basically a running back with elite kck off return ability

Devonte Parker played for charlie strong before petrino and petrino doesn't run a traditional spread anyway

60% of all spread wrs taken in the first round are busts

2 of the non busts are Physical freaks of nature (Watkins, Evans) who possess physical tools to succeed regardless of the system they came from

Pretty much the redskins and browns wasted their first round pick this year

Kevin White hasn't played a snap yet due to injury. That's not the spread's fault.

Hated that Corey Coleman pick. He's a shrimp that can't run routes. You can be a shrimp or a guy that can't run routes, not both.

He is/was the best WR in the country. Not sure why you hate the pick as he can run routes.

Doctson was nearly as productive as Coleman but is 4 inches taller with a 41'' vertical . I would've taken him instead.

In November I said Doctson was the best WR in country, still believe it. But Coleman won the awards (maybe by default and injury)

I do not think you go wrong with either. I also like Will Fuller a lot.

If Justin Blackmon plays for a pro style team, he doesn't become an alcoholic?

yes because he used the time not spent on learning a total route tree to get fricked up. Duh.

People use the term "bust" entirely too liberally nowadays.

Does this work the same for R Jay Soward? If he plays for a spread team does he get brain cells and a work ethic?

From Pro Styles

Yatil Green
Peter Warrick
Charles Rodgers
Reggie Williams
Mike Williams

So what is it? Spreads or Pro Styles that give busts?
