Do you guys even watch football?
I've watched enough of EJ Manuel to know that he is not going to lead a team past the Patriots to the playoffs.

They were a top 6 team in the AFC during the final 4 weeks of the season.

And their best quarterback retired.

Unfortunately, that position is that important. And they are not "competing" for anything without one. Cutler is not the answer, and this draft class for QB's sucks. They are in the same boat as Houston, Arizona, Cinncinati, etc...

Wade Phillips has been a head coach five times. FIVE TIMES.

Doug Marrone will get another head coaching gig.

Who is? You threw out a bunch of names like you know what's up. Give us some analysis.

You can't just say, "yeah but they'll have a new QB" and leave it at that.

That makes the most sense, given the Ryan / Sanchez history. Even with the Sanchez upgrade ( ), I don't see them as a contender without a RB. Sanchez isn't the guy to light teams up with his passing. He needs a lot of help.

Who the F will hire him? What has he done? Oh wait he is an OL coach How come Gene Jizzik hasn't gotten an HC job with his NC title at Auburn? Cuz he sucks. His record at Iowa St and Auburn, minus the NC year, are just pitiful. So he gets hired at UNC as DC just recently. At least Phillips has a decent W-L record and few playoff chokes under his belt.

Bills were 9-7 with Kyle Orton as QB.

so you think he's a shitty coach? Then he'll never get a job, you're right. He took Buffalo to the woodshed then

I still don't understand why people like you think he did something wrong. He simply took advantage of the contract he was given.

NFL teams cut players and coaches to avoid paying them their full contracts all the time. Why can't coaches and players play the game the way the owners do?

And we have no idea what was going on behind the scenes with the new ownership. He could have heard that he was going to be Harbaugh'd and decided to cut bait.

To call him a moron without knowing ANYTHING about the situation is idiotic.
