quote:

"You may want to think about trading Tony Romo and Dez Bryant going forward. Because this is a young team that's all fallen behind their young talent, meaning Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott," McNabb said. "Think about this: Going into the draft -- their defense has been playing outstanding -- going into the draft, draft a pretty good wide receiver in the second round, go after a defensive player in the first round."

The former Eagles and Redskins quarterback believes the Cowboys should create a "three-headed monster," except he apparently thinks getting rid of Bryant is the best way to do it, because Bryant remains a "distraction."

Trading Romo in the offseason absolutely makes sense but trading Dez Bryant?

I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR YEARS

The 3 stooges - Romo, Bryant, Jerry Jones.

Get rid of all 3 or the Cowboys will never do anything meaningful.

This would complete 2/3 of that task

He's an inside agent working for the Eagles.

I would trade both of them as well.

I'd trade Dak for 3 first rounders.

Elliot and the o line are the key to the team.

he's not really wrong

teams with star wr's dont win super bowls. Rodney Harrison with the Colts, and the greatest show on turf with the rams.

pawn him on someone else, trade for more o line depth and some more defensive cogs

What would Dez's trade value be? If I could get a first round pick plus another mid round pick I might do it. If I could get a pro bowler and an 2-3 round pick I might do it.

I'm sorry but trading a 27 year old Dez Bryant is fricking nuts imo. Adding a healthy Dez to what the Cowboys already have on offense is going to make things extremely tough on defenses

Playing a position he never played for a team he never played for. I have to watch his "A Football Life."

Sounds like too much social concern.

I agree. Romeo is washed up and Bryant is s head case that WILL do harm to Dak....

I agree with him. Dez is a team cancer whose only concern is himself, and now he's hurt all the damn time anyway.

They would be better off trading he and romo for draft picks

I actually see the logic in this.

Wut

We already have a back up guard playing and we have a solid swing tackle in Chaz Green.

I will admit Dez has not been healthy as much as he should be, but he's a great player who is a team first guy and I would rather have him then have him whipping our arse down the line like Randy Moss did with Minnesota

I feel like the cowboys have already got enough value out of Dez. Trade his arse for a 2nd or first if you can.

You clearly know nothing about Dez or the team. It's been reported multiple times how much of a locker room favorite he is. Cole Beasley has already said he wouldn't be where he is if not for him.
