Right. There is nothing wrong with hazing for a little comradarie, but like you said, there are bad eggs like Incognito that frick it up.

Hence, Zero tolerance policies. Just be a grown up and don't haze people.

And I have a feeling Incognito is just the ringleader of a group of players hazing Martin beyond just his first season.

Pouncey is reportedly involved. Before we get too far along, it should be remembered that some NFL players aren't just wannabe thugs. Some are legit gangsters. If Martin was scared of them, perhaps he had reason to be.

You taking it personal with me almost has me in tears IRL

Anyway, if this had been a physical abuse ordeal, I could totally see it. A guy threatening him and making him pay for shite? Good lord man, blacklist a phone number

You mean there might be a reason to be legitimately afraid of one guy who is psycho, and another one that just got served a warrant to determine his involvement in a gun running operation?

No, please don't give a semi-elaborate rebuttal to an opinion. That would be completely naive and uncalled for.

Yeah. It sounds pretty crazy when you type it out, right?

When you get suspended indefinitely by Frank Solich for a fight at a party resulting in assault charges, get ejected from a game for fighting, and finally get thrown off the team by Bill Callahan, you tend to get flagged as being an unstable a-hole.

What are the other players saying about it? I mean if it was that horrific, surely someone would defend the guy. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want a player on my team who quit, even if it were for threats and making him pay for things

With every post you reveal your lack of real world knowledge.

This at the school which kept Lawrence Phillips and Christian Peter eligible.

No shite. I didn't remember until yesterday there was some issue with Incognito trying to transfer to Oregon and being made to leave one day after he arrived. I don't know if that's entirely accurate.

Wow, there are borderline psychopaths in the NFL? Dirty players? Thugs?

Oh we need to resolve something stat! What are coming to?

Also, I love how anyone with the opinion that Martin is soft is automatically Incognitos rider buddy in Sons of Anarchy. FTR, and I've said this eight times: Richie is a thugPOS, tool, and complete jackass. Someone might *gasp* have a different reaction to how Martin handled it though. I know, I know...the horror

I wouldn't call it hazing. It's harassment and intimidation. Hazing makes it seem like everyone on the team went through this. They didn't.
